We prompt the group to engage throughout the workshop through reflections, breakouts, share-backs, and discussion. It's like having a live facilitator at a fraction of the cost. We also use a virtual whiteboard tool so team members may share and aggregate ideas. This provides an artifact for you and the team to reference after the workshop too.

Who is facilitating the workshops?
Trista Taylor will be your video-guide. She'll guide the group through structured conversations and activities. As the workshop host, you'll be the facilitator for the session. You'll play/pause the video as prompted and help ensure the group stays on track. As a bonus, you'll develop facilitation skills as you host these team workshops!

What does it take to host a workshop?
It takes ~30-60min to prepare to host the workshop with your team. The welcome video and prep guide will walk you through everything you need to do. Before the workshop: You'll watch the session video (~30-min) to get an understanding for the workshop, make a copy of the Miro or Mural virtual whiteboard template, email your team with workshop details, and schedule a calendar invite for your team. In the workshop: you'll host the workshop using your favorite video conferencing tool, welcome the group, present the workshop video and play/pause the video as prompted. You'll also help keep the group on track and manage any breakout rooms.

How long are the workshops?
Each workshop varies from 1 hour to 2.5 hours. About 20% of the workshop time is spent with the video-guide sharing frameworks or guiding the session, and 80% is your team engaging in reflection, sharing, and interactive conversations.

What technology is required?
You'll use your favorite video conferencing tool. We also use Miro or Mural as a virtual whiteboard. These tools make it easy to share and aggregate ideas together. Don't worry, you can do the workshop on their free plan.
